With 40 years of dedicated focus on wire and cable manufacturing, Yanggu Cable Group has gradually developed into one of the few domestic enterprises with two complete industrial chains of optical communication and power transmission. In 2016, led by Yanggu Cable Group and approved by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), Yanggu Optoelectronic Information Industrial Park was established with a planned land area of 4,050 mu (approx. 270 hectares). The park was listed as a key national-level demonstration zone for high-quality optoelectronic cable products, cultivated with priority by Shandong Province. In 2018, the first phase of the optical fiber preform project, with an investment of CNY 1 billion and equipped with imported equipment from US-based ASI, was officially put into production, and the second phase of the optical fiber drawing project was also commissioned simultaneously. Over the next 10 years, the projects planned for investment and construction in the industrial park include high-speed locomotive cables, nuclear power K1-class optical cables, carbon fiber cables, marine cables, petroleum equipment cables, special optical fiber and cables, aluminum alloy contact wires for high-speed trains, cable accessories of 220kV and above, optoelectronic components and other high-end key products.
To further standardize the operation system and improve brand service capabilities, Shandong Rihui Cable Group Co., Ltd. was incorporated in August 2019 as the legal undertaking entity for the core business of Yanggu Cable Group. In December 2020, with the official approval of Yanggu County Party Committee and Yanggu County People's Government, it was jointly initiated and restructured into a state-owned enterprise by Yanggu Caitong Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Yanggu Yourong Enterprise Management Service Center (Limited Partnership). This restructuring has further optimized the operation management and sales model of Yanggu Cable Group, and officially confirmed Shandong Rihui Cable Group Co., Ltd. as the sole core operation entity for the "Rihui" brand and full industrial chain business of Yanggu Cable Group, ensuring that all customers can enjoy the unified, standardized and best pre-sales, in-sales and after-sales services as well as full-cycle quality assurance for "Rihui" brand products.
